The Google Cloud Platform Github Organization recently published a long list of sample applications that show the potential of the search giant's lesser-adopted cloud platform. There are currently 36 public repositories in Java, Python, Ruby and JavaScript, including "starter projects" for getting familiar with Google Cloud Platform's API.
